Indeed Posting via eQuest – Updated Process

Indeed has updated its job posting policies, and as a result, the process for posting jobs through eQuest has changed. This article outlines the current state of support and what’s coming soon.

🔄 What's Changed

• All jobs must now originate directly from the customer’s ATS (e.g., Workday, Oracle, UKG Ready) to appear on Indeed — including for organic visibility.
• eQuest can no longer serve as the source of job origination for Indeed postings.
• The “Indeed Free (Organic)” option in the eQuest marketplace is now deprecated.
• eQuest can still support Sponsored Jobs, but only for jobs already delivered through the ATS.
• Sponsorship will be applied using Indeed’s Job Update API (in development as of August 2025).

🛠 Coming Soon: Job Update API Support

We’re actively building support for Indeed’s Job Update API, which will allow eQuest to apply sponsorship to jobs coming through ATS feeds. This will become the go-forward method for sponsoring jobs through eQuest.

This article will be updated once that functionality is live.
